CMHA of NB Moncton in Partnership with Breelove Counselling
Each Wednesday (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
The Counselling Clinic at the CMHA of NB Moncton office offers immediate mental health support to help with general concerns causing generalized stress. This service will assist through counselling therapy and provide the individual with referrals to further mental health support, if needed.
Who can access services?
Anyone in our communities 18 years of age or older and is not currently seeing a mental health professional can access this free service.
Will I need an appointment?
Yes, you may call Tuesday between 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. to schedule your appointment to see a counselling therapist or graduate student for up to 45 minutes.
What can I expect at the Counselling Clinic?
- Arrive at CMHA of NB, sign in at reception, and complete an intake form. You will be given a Terms of Service document to read.
- A counselling therapist or graduate student comes to the waiting room to take you to a private office to create your counselling file. You will be asked to sign that you have read and understood the Terms of Service and Confidentiality documents.
- Together, you will develop a plan that is written on a Wellness Prescription form that you will take with you. We encourage you to follow up with the referrals made, as most people find it helpful in being able to take action towards positive change in their lives.
- You are given a feedback form. If you are willing to share your feedback, please fill it out and deposit it in the box at Reception.

No, all services are scheduled by calling (506) 859-8114 on Tuesday between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m.
