ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a Community Program Coordinator to join our team to provide professional public education and awareness within the province. You are respectful, resourceful, collaborative and have an energetic-style and positive attitude aligned with the CMHA of NB mission, vision, and values. You must be known for building strong relationships, have expert-level verbal and written communication skills preferably in both official languages, be well-organized, and have great time management skills.
Responsibilities include:
➢ Delivering presentations on mental health and wellness, virtually and in-person.
➢ Facilitating provincial programs.
➢ Coordinating educational and therapeutic based programming.
➢ Planning anti-stigma awareness activities.
➢ Representing CMHA of NB on community committees.
➢ Participating in internal sub-committees.
➢ Attending regular team meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
➢ Building partnerships with community stakeholders.
➢ Monthly reporting and monitoring to ensure targets are met.
ABOUT YOU You will have a combination of relevant education and work experience. Additional skills and experience are as follows:
➢ Bilingualism is preferred (English/French)
➢ Professional, compassionate, and non-judgmental verbal and written communication skills.
➢ Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office365 / Databases).
➢ Exhibit sound judgement with the ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
➢ Strong organizational abilities with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
➢ Ability to ensure the security and confidentiality of information.
➢ Highly skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships.
➢ Highly adaptable and flexible, while managing multiple priorities. ➢ Capability to work independently and within group dynamics. ➢ Innovative thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
➢ Empathetic towards persons of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, always providing a positive, supportive, and enthusiastic point of contact.
➢ Demonstrated competence in understanding cultural diversity and works effectively with individuals with various cultural backgrounds.
➢ Effective interpersonal and team skills, ability to problem solve, use good judgement, and work independently.

➢ Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
➢ A recent satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check is required.
➢ Workplace First Aid /CPR certification or willingness to be trained.
ABOUT OUR WORKING CONDITIONS ➢ The position is full-time, the usual work week is 37.5 hours.
➢ Flexible working hours, including weekday evenings and/or weekends is required occasionally.
➢ Some travel throughout the province is required.
➢ Access to reliable transportation is required.
➢ Working in a variety of settings or in partnership with other health agencies is required.
