Engaging Families in Recovery program is a 10-week education and support program for individuals who are caring for a loved one living with mental illness. The goal of the program is for caregivers / loved ones to feel better equipped with various coping skills and knowledge of how best be a supporter and caregiver in ways which are healthy and effective for all parties.
The aim of Engaging Families in Recovery is to offer assistance and support, as well as encouragement in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. This program does not replace counselling or therapy. Confidentiality and privacy of sharing within the group is strongly promoted.
Program Length: 10 weeks, 1.5 hours per session
