Lyrics
It’s a black, cloudy day when we hear people say
Peace in this world will be no more
It’s a world full of hate, it’s every man’s fate
Living in a world so ravaged by war
So come hear my plea, please listen to me
How high of a price must we pay
What do we need so man can be free
To live in a safe and friendly way
Sacrifices we’ve made, the price that we paid
For freedom, peace and liberty
No matter what the cost of the lives that are lost
And the loved ones left at home to sit and grieve
The lives that it takes to make this world safe
When will we all understand
We know the price of life is great, so let’s not be late
Let’s live to understand our fellow man
Now great men have we, so please hear my plea
Peace in this world is what we need
Put aside our price and with our neighbor’s abide
And live in a world of peace and harmony
Let’s live in a world of peace and harmony
